Where are restorative processes held? - Restorative processes are generally held in the community where most of the participants live, work, or attend school. The goal is to hold a restorative process in the environment and community that is most convenient for the majority of participants.
Who attends a community conference? - Those directly involved in an incident of harm or conflict are required to attend a community conference in order for the process to move forward. Key parties are encouraged to include their supporters, and others who can be resourceful in helping the conferencing participants to craft an effective and sustainable plan for addressing and healing the harm at the center of the community conference.
How much does it cost? - There is no charge for community conferences involving Prince George’s County residents. Restorative circles for everyone except for-profit organizations are also free of charge.
Who can use PGCCCP services? - Anyone can request the program’s services, however, Prince George’s County residents are our primary clients.
